- The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate a sole source modification to an existing contract SS00-09-60099 with Government Contracts Consultants to increase the scope of the contract for Parking and Credentialing Office Support Services. The current contractor is responsible for SSA's security structure in processing applications and issuing documents used by SSA employees, visitors, vendors and private contractors to gain access to government facilities, remove authorized property from government facilities, access government information systems and park at SSA controlled facilities. The Contractor, Government Contracts Consultants, LP (GCC), currently provides a staff of personnel to cover each of the four (4) Headquarters area Parking and Credentialing Offices (PCOs) from 6:00am - 6:00pm. Going forward, we want to increase coverage at one of the buildings to 24/7 coverage. This proposed modification is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
