Description
The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Alaska Volcano Observatory has a requirement for 243 (each) 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers with Low Voltage Disconnect and 186 (each) 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers with deliveries to Hawaiian National Park, Hawaii, Anchorage, Alaska and Vancouver, Washington. The required specifications for the Controllers are as follows: 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers with Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) must include: - System Volts: 12V- Maximum Array Voltage input: 25V or greater- Maximum Array Current: 12A or greater- Continuous Load Current: 10A or greater- LVD and auto LVD reset/reconnect- LVD at 10.5V-11.5V +/-.2V- LVD reset/reconnect at 12.5V-13V +/-.3V- Operating Temperature: Between -40 to 60 (C)- Must be capable of charging Standard Lead-Acid batteries: including Wet-Cell batteries, Sealed Maintenance-Free batteries, and Gel-Celled batteries- Must be completely encapsulated and suitable for outdoor mounting- All 10A with LVD charge controllers purchased must be the same make and model 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers:- System Volts: 12V- Maximum Array Voltage input: 25V or greater- Maximum Array Current: 12A or greater- Continuous Load Current: 10A or greater- Operating Temperature: Between -40 to 50 (C)- Must be capable of charging Standard Lead-Acid batteries: including Wet-Cell batteries, Sealed Maintenance-Free batteries, and Gel-Celled batteries- Must be completely encapsulated and suitable for outdoor mounting- All 10A with LVD charge controllers purchased must be the same make and model 103 (each) 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers with Low Voltage Disconnect and 186 (each) 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers will be delivered to Hawaii National Park, Hawaii 96718. 100 (each) 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers with Low Voltage Disconnect will be delivered to Anchorage, Alaska 99508. 40 (each) 10 Amp Photovoltaic Charge Controllers with Low Voltage Disconnect will be delivered to Vancouver, Washington 98683. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The required delivery date is anticipated to be 5 weeks after award of the contract. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 08 January 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. This requirement is set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335999 and the size standard is 500 employees. There is no incumbent contractor. Full funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
