Description
FOR ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: EDWARD TOMASZEWICZ 732-532-8808 This is a Market Survey to locate a source for repair of the (1)MD-1366(U)Strategic EBEM (NSN 5895-01-519-2525); (2) MD-1366A(U)the Tactical EBEM (NSN 5895-01-519-2415);and, (3) The Ethernet Service Expansion Module (ESEM) (NSN 7025-01-562-9643). The government can not provide any information for contractor review. The rights to the technical data required to manufacture, test, and repair the Strategic EBEM, the Tactical EBEM, and the ESEM are not owned by the government. The technical data rights for manufacturing, testing, and repair are the sole proprietorship of the current repair source: VIASAT, Inc., 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009. Any manufacturer/supplier capable of repairing these units must satisfy the functionality and interface interoperability of these three units. The manufacturer/supplier is required to supply documentation such as First Article test results, Acceptance test results, capability of demonstrating that the supplier can supply the Army with a repaired unit that meets physical, functional, and performance specifications with the unit from the current supplier. Successful manufacturers/suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Interested sources are required to submit comprehensive and conclusive documentation by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSRD-RDER-PRA-ED, Building 1202, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000, demonstrating Form, Fit, and Function interchangeability and compatibility with the Strategic EBEM,Tactical EBEM, and the ESEM.
