- NSN 3110-01-164-3918; Purchase Request Number IQC09253009002; Bearing, Ball Annular. Approved Sources: Bell Helicopter Textron, CAGE 97499, Part Number 406-040-339-101; and Timken Aerospace, CAGE 78118, Part Number 406-040-339-101. Destination Inspection required. FOB Destination. Stocked Item. DSCR does not currently have an approved technical data package available for this NSN. IAW QCC FCA. Requested delivery is 180 DARO. This NSN is a critical application item and is not commercial. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a base year plus 4 option years. Solicited as an Unrestricted requirement, Other than Full and Open Competitive basis. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD), which is 897 each. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is 224 each for the base year only. This NSN is Foreign Bearing Waiver approved for FY10 in accordance with procedures at DFARS 225.7009-4 due to lack of domestic sourcing. Subsequent fiscal year waivers will be obtained until a domestic source is located. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation anticipated issue date is 4 Jan 10 (anticipated closing date of 3 FEB 10), anticipated award date is JUNE 2010. Reference notes 22, 23 and 26.
