- Description
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for construction for "Audit Findings Elimination" (Phase 2) at the Fluid Modeling Facility, Page Road, RTP, NC. The work includes demolition of existing construction inside the FMF office and shop space, including combustible partitions, and associated electrical and other items and the construction of new shop space, including partitions, ceilings, doors and frames, HVAC, electrical items, and other associated work as indicated on the drawings and specifications. A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated.In addition to price, the Government's evaluation of proposals is expected to include assessment of each offeror's past performance record. These evaluation factors are of equal importance. The anticipated contract performance period is 6 months after receipt of the notice to proceed. The estimated construction contract price is under $500,000. The solicitation will be released through the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about January 8, 2010. This is an unrestricted acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
