Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W912EE-10-T-0017 is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation will be competed as unrestricted. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541990 (SIC 4499) with a size standard of $7 million. This requirement is for the repair and replacement of parts aboard the Dredge Jadwin. The parts for repair are as follows: (1) DS6820EGRB EGR, (1) DS3820FEDA Field Module, (1) DS3800NHVG Circuit Card, and (2)(new) KLR110CCB4 Line Filter. The parts for repair will be sent from Vicksburg to the Contractor and are to be returned accompanying the new filters. The parts are to be repaired at a GE (General Electric) authorized repair Facility ONLY and must be documented and carry a 1 year warranty, Failure analysis is to be supplied as well. Parts shipped FOB destination 2449 Haining Road, Vicksburg, MS 39183, M/F Dredge Jadwin, ATTN: Perry Huskey. The Contractor is to supply a field service engineer to install, calibrate and test repaired components on board the Dredge Jadwin in Vicksburg, MS. The service engineer must have experience on dredge systems and GE control systems. A resume must be provided along with the quote. Also attached in (Attachment 1) are the Wage Rates for the repairs being performed. The work must be completed and installed back on the Dredge Jadwin 30 days after the award is received (on or about 1 March 2010). Quotes are due 19 January 2010 not later than 2:00 p.m. at the USACE VICKSBURG DISTRICT, 4155 CLAY STREET, VICKSBURG, MS 39183-3435, ATTN: Brian T. Gladney. To be considered for the award of the solicitation all vendors submitting a quote MUST be certified on CCR and have completed an ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications Application) account displaying their Representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov/ or complete FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items and submit them with the quote.
