Description
RECOVERY: Replace Storage Buildings, ARRA Funded FFS Project Numbers R6BA, R6GC (81%), & R6GB, TAS::14 1613::TAS and TAS::14 1610::TAS. Deferred Maintenance Project Number MAIN (19%). THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS BEING OFFERED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS OFFERED AS A HUBZONE SETASIDE. WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT: This project includes providing all labor, equipment, and materials for the salvage and demolition of 4 buildings from the Alamosa NWR, Lilipop Office Site in accordance with specifications, drawings, and proposal schedule. Project includes demolition of 4 building; materials will be recycled and salvaged where available and all other remaining materials will be disposed of. Areas disturbed by salvage and demolition work will be filled, graded, and seeded as noted and on the drawings. Buildings scheduled for removal have not been tested for asbestos containing materials. The Contractor will have an Asbestos Building Inspector, certified by the State of Colorado, inspect and test each building being removed for asbestos containing materials. JOB CONDITIONS: The work site is located at the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge, approximately 2 miles south of Alamosa, Colorado at the Lilipop Office Site. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE: The site is located at the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge, approximately 2 miles south of Alamosa, Colorado at the Lilipop Office Site at 9383 El Rancho Lane, Alamosa, CO 81101. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions. Your attention is invited to review Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.236-3, Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work (Apr 1984). Failure of the Contractor to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The total performance period is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 238910, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, and the size standard is $14 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about January 19, 2010 with an anticipated closing date of February 13, 2010.
