- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Network Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Lumenis Inc to provide preventive maintenance, parts, repairs, and service for the Lumenis VersaPulse PowerSuite located at the Dorn VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC. The NAICS code is 811219 and size standard is $7.0 million. The contract period will be from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 for a base and three (3) one-year option periods. This Notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties that can provide similar services or equal product must submit their technical specifications of product or services, past performance information, price and delivery time, detailing how their services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer via e-mail or fax at: 478-274-5591. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
