- The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration intends to acquire, on a sole-source basis, security guard services for the Beaumont Reserve Fleet from an 8(a) entity, Ambassador Business Security Services. The period of performance will be January 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010. All possible sources may submit a capabilities statement. However, this request makes no implication of future work and does not represent a commitment by the Maritime Administration. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. The proposed contract action expressly authorized or required by a statue to be made through the U.S. Small Business Administration using the authority of Section 8(a) Small Business Act. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561612.
