****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Joni Swaim, Contracting Officer, email: joni.swaim@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX9C0294AX; NOUN: Bolt, Close Tolerance; NSN: 5306-01-149-5774; P/N: 145R3120-1; Min/Max Quantity: 4800/14,400 each on a firm fixed price (1 year with 2-100% Options) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity applicable to CH-47 with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery is 4800 each 413 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 4800 each year until contract completion. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 4800 each, 275 DACA. This requirement is restricted to; The Boeing Company (CAGE: 77272); SPS Technologies, LLC (CAGE: 56878) & Avibank Mfg, Inc. (CAGE: 84256) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT. VIOLATIONS OF THESE EXPORT LAWS ARE SUBJECT TO SEVERE CRIMINAL PENALTIES.
