- Description
- The Government is soliciting for one (1) Religious Education Coordinator (REC) for the Catholic congregations of Ord Military Community and the Presidio of Monterey. The Catholic Religious Education Coordinator is vital to ensuring holistic ministry of education that occurs for OMC and POM Catholic Communities. The contractor shall provide all labor required to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator for the Presidio of Monterey Community Catholic Religious Education Program at Ord Military Community Chapel, Bldg. 4280, General Jim Moore Blvd., Presidio of Monterey, California. The anticipated contract start date is 29 December 2009. The Contractor shall maintain office hours. Work is primarily performed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and shall also be required on Saturdays and/or Sundays occasionally in order to meet the Holy Days of obligation. Typical hours are Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. The person offered to fill the position shall meet the following qualifications: 1. The contractor must be a practicing Catholic who adheres to the Magisterial of the Roman Catholic Church and has received all Sacraments of initiation. 2. The contractor must have a Bachelors of Arts degree in the area of Humanities. 3. One year or more experience in religious education that includes experience in teaching and coordinating a faith formation program. The person selected will be subjected to a federal background investigation before accessing any Government systems. Please note these requirements apply to the individual who will actually be performing the work. This is a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 561110 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million.
