- Sources Sought The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk VA, is in the process of further developing the acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal Husbanding Services for the following six regions: South America, Mexico, Panama, Central America (excluding Mexico and Panama), Canada, and the Caribbean. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. The government expects to make an award on or about 30 Aug 2010. This acquisition will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government may choose to issue one RFP to cover the possible six resulting contracts or issue six separate RFPs. A "DRAFT" Performance Work Statement (PWS) as well as a list of Ports where services will be provided is posted in conjunction with this sources sought notice. The government seeks industry input to further develop an acquisition strategy and hear from interested vendors that have the capability to support this requirement within any or all of the six designated regions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 488310. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement that describes their ability to support the scope of this requirement by region or as combination of regions. Please also include CAGE Code, and DUNS Number, as well as any other pertinent information. Please reference OCONUS Sources Sought in the subject line. The size limitation for emails is 5MB. File formats can be as follows PDF, Word, Excel or Powerpoint. Files with the ".zip" extension cannot be received. Should your email correspondence exceed this limit, please submit multiple emails stating Email 1 of 3, etc. in the subject line. Comments on the attached draft PWS are not requested at this time, however comments on a regional solicitation will be considered. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. The Government will provide email confirmation of receipt of your statements. If companies do not receive an email confirmation after submitting their capabilities statement, they are urged to verify receipt telephonically.
