Original Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This posting is for Request for Quote (RFQ) W912HN-10-T-0014. This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 237990. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $33.5 million. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-38. Description of Requirement: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires construction services to provide shoreline erosion protection at two locations within the Falls Lake Sandling Beach Recreation Area, Wake County, NC. The work consists of providing and placing stone rip rap erosion protection along the Falls Lake shoreline at two areas, some minor clearing and grubbing, grading of shoreline, and site preparation. Please see attached documents for full scope of work and specifications. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Provisions and Clauses included with this Request for Quote are in the attached SF 18. Offerors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be eligible for award. If the Offeror does not become actively registered in CCR by the due date/time of this solicitation, the Contracting Officer may proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
