- RECOVERY: "THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE PRIME CONTRACTOR UNDER THE REMEDIAL ACTION CONTRACT (RAC) II, CONTRACT NO. EP-S4-09-02." The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 4 issued a task order for remedial action/oversight at the Tower Chemical Company Site, located in Lake County, Florida. This requirement is under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The purpose of this modification is to obligate $710,000.00 for the continued support of Recovery - Tower Chemical Company Site OU3, Remedial Oversight, Task Order No. 015-RXBF-0419. The period of performance remains unchanged beginning October 30, 2009 to December 31, 2013. The work to be performed consists of providing oversight and verification of the construction, and implementation of the remedial action (RA) for the Tower Chemical Site in accordance with the objectives of the Remedial Design (RD). The RA is the implementation phase of site remediation or construction of the remedy, including necessary performance monitoring and any special requirements.
