- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 5 has a requirement for mechanical vegetation grinding at the Patuxent Research Refuge, Anne Arundel County, Laurel, MD. The proposed work is for the mechanical grinding of vegetation of approximately 50 acres. The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials to cut and grind designated areas in accordance with the statement of work. Solicitation number 50181AR005 will be posted on or about January 12, 2010, and may be viewed through a link to the National Business Center Interior electronic acquisition system-Electronic Commerce at http://www.fedbizopps.gov The solicitation response date will be approximately 30 days from the posting date. Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-bid site visit scheduled at 10:00 am EST on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. The meeting place for the site visit will be at the Patuxent Research Refuge NWR Office, 12100 Beech Forest Road, Room 138, Laurel MD 20708-4036. The period of performance is one year from notice to proceed. The NAICS code corresponding to this work is 115310, with a small business standard of $7 million dollars annually. The Service Contract Act will apply to this contract. This procurement is set-aside for small business. All responsible, qualified sources may submit a proposal for consideration. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov to receive a contract award.
