- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, intends to procure a mechanical arm, vacuum-assisted, sanding system for the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-10-T-0037 applies and is as a Request for Quotation. Offers are due by 12 January 2010. The FISC Jacksonville Contracting Department requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001 Procurement of Mechanical Arm, Vacuum-Assisted, Sanding System to include all required specifications. CLIN 0002 Delivery, Set-up, and Installation at Government Site. Acceptance will occur at vendor location prior to delivery.CLIN 0003 One Week Installation and Training Package. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer or whose quotation, conforming to this Request for Quotation (RFQ), the lowest price technically acceptable to the government. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, therefore only small businesses are invited to respond. The applicable NAICS Code is 333999 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible to receive an award form this solicitation. Information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
