- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY- RECREATION WAYFINDING - INFORMATION BOARD REPAIR AND NEW CONSTRUCTION. MOUNT St. HELENS NATIONAL VOLCANIC MONUMENT, SKAMANIA AND COWLITZ COUNTY, AMBOY, WA. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0128 on or about January 04, 2010, for the RECOVERY Recreation Wayfinding-Information board repair and new construction of information boards. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after January 04, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for Recreation Wayfinding - information board repair and new construction of information boards. This project for information board repair consists of repairing 49 existing wood information boards and new construction and installation of boards as follows: Remove and replace four (4) one-panel wood information boards, remove and replace one (1) two-panel wood information board, construct one (1) new one-panel wood information boards, construct two (2) new two-panel wood information board, construct three (3) new two-panel canopied wood information boards, construct one (1) three-panel bulletin board. The intent of this contract is to provide for the complete project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: Recreation Wayfinding - information board repair and new construction of information boards Project in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The Government’s estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION - The location of the worksites are located on the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Recreation Wayfinding - Information boards are located at information sites, campgrounds, wayside exhibits and trailheads along Forest Roads 25, 26 2612, 81, 8123, 83, 830, 8303, 8322, 90, 9039, 99, SH 503, 504, and 5042. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is a HUBzone set aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 321999. The size standard is 500 people. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
