Description
Hose Kits Diesel Engines Statement of Work RFQ Letter Quote sheets This posting and the attachments represent an invitation to prospective offerors to respond with a quote for service needed at Hill Air Force Base. The government anticipates entering into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with several contractors to supply service/repair to various ground equipment. It is the Governments intent to establish a Credit Card Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) in which current/future requirements will be fulfilled by placing Call Orders against the BPA. The Government may issue a single BPA or multiple BPAs for the same or similar items to two or more contractors under this RFQ. BPAs may be established with large and small business concerns. Call orders to each contractor will be determined by the best value and/or delivery to the Government. Each Call Order against the BPA is not expected to exceed $25,000. The issuance of a BPA is not a guarantee of receipt of orders and can be cancelled at any time. The government reserves the right to terminate any or all BPA agreements by giving the contractors thirty (30) days notice. At a minimum please quote all or part of the items found in the Statement of Work (SOW) section 6.0 using the attached quote sheet. If you have a catalog, you may provide it along with your quote. Any changes to the RFQ will be listed as an addendum through electronic media. The quote sheet shall contain the following information: 1. On each quote sheet circle the bomb lift or write in the diesel engines that you are quoting (a list of the required diesel engines is found attached to the Statement of Work). Quote each item as the example on the quote sheet. Only those items found on the Quote Sheet need quoted. 2. All work is in accordance with the revised Statement of work dated 17 November 2009. 3. You will need separate quote sheets for each bomb lift, each diesel engine, and other parts (sections are specified on the quote sheets). 4. If you are not quoting on an item then leave it blank or put N/A in the corresponding blank. 5. Any quotes that do not follow this format will be considered non-responsive. 6. Please note: The hoses will be quoted as a whole kit. An attached list with all hose part numbers is included with the Statement of Work. Please prepare your quote using a Fixed Price. You are encouraged to use your catalog for pricing. Please update with the current date and indicate how long the prices are valid. Please submit your quote using the attached quote sheets. If your company has not filled out the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), please fill one out at https://orca.bpn.gov/. If you are interested, you may participate by submitting your quote to Robert Maughan via email (robert.maughan@hill.af.mil), or by FAX to (801) 777-4569. It is the government's intention to issue the new BPA as a basic award with 5-year options. Initial BPAs will be issued in January 2010 for qualifying contractors, but the posting will stay open until 22 December 2010 to foster further competition. Any offer that falls within the competitive range and is considered technically acceptable shall be considered for a BPA. These BPAs may be established anytime throughout the year up to 22 December 2010. Quotes must be received by 5 Jan. 2010 to be considered in the January 2010 BPAs. Due to the anticipated dollar thresholds involved in each call/order, this acquisition will be open to Large and Small businesses. Although, in the event that a call/order falls within the thresholds per FAR 13.003(b)(1), the specified call/order will be reserved exclusively for available small business concerns, as defined in FAR Part 19. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contract Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Status of any contractor can be checked by calling 1-888-227-2423. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements can be obtained by calling 269-961-5757 or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. If you have any questions please contact Robert Maughan at (robert.maughan@hill.af.mil) or (801) 775-2377.
