- The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Accipiter Radar Corporation, 40 Centre Drive Quaker Centre Business Park, Orchard Park, NY, (Cage Code: 5CQP3)under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to procure and install one (1) each Accipiter Radar Data Server (RDS). The server must be purchased through Accipiter Radar Technologies because the server itself is an embedded system that is optimized for the task of receiving radar data and distributing it to the licensed clients. There are specific security protocols involved as well as proprietary data formats. The Accipiter radar data server is the only data server with the necessary software to be compatible with existing radar components at MCAS Cherry Point. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received in a timely manner of fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER, WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
