- Description
- This is a three-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, project not to exceed $750,000. The project consists of growing bare root conifer tree seedlings from seed and transplanting containerized seedlings supplied by the Government. The work consists of (1) providing all necessary records, tools, equipment, seed (or purchasing from the Government), labor, materials, laboratory tests; (2) performing accepted horticultural practices currently in use in the bare root seedling nursery industry, necessary to produce high-quality seedlings, including watering, weeding and fertilizing the seedlings, the application of herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides, to control / prevent weeds, pathogens, and insects; and (3) lifting seedlings from the beds, sorting for quality according to contract specifications, and packaging for storage and shipment. In accordance with Service First, Section 330 of Public Law 106-291, Contracting Officers from Bureau of Land Management, Oregon State Office and Medford District Office and USDA, Forest Service are authorized to issue task orders against this contract. This solicitation is posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net (paper copies are no longer available). The proposed procurement is approximately 40% set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
