- BASIC STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT]NASA/DFRC has a requirement for 1 each Towable Ground Power Unit to provide power to 747aircraft.[SPECIFICATIONS]90k VA 400 HZ Solid State Frequency ConverterSingle Output480VAC 60Hz Three PhaseTowable Trailer Mounted 30 Output Cable, 4-20/0 W 12/2 AC50 Input cable, Type W#2/4 Type W Operation and Maintenance Manual[FOLLOW-UP AND LEGAL]The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and 13.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation,which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and awritten solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQsystem to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may beaccessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= the informationrequired by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. Quotes are due by 2:00pmPST on January 4, 2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice.
