- FA8620-05-G-3028 0080 This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), 703 AESG/SYK intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. for Fiscal Years 2010-2012 to procure replacements seats for Predator/Reaper Ground Control Stations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This work will correct known health and safety issues of the current seats and meet program ergonomic and anthropometric requirements. This effort will include delivery of seats designed and tested under a previous development contract. General Atomics ASI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Predator/Reaper system and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform these efforts. The Government does not own the data rights for the system, therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
