Description

IQC09351009001, this solicitation will contain 1 NSN (3110-01-414-1596) for a CONE AND ROLLERS, TAPERED ROLLER BEARING. This solicitation will be for an award for a quantity of 400 for a base and four option years. This item is manufactured to a “Source Controlled Drawing.” Approved Sources: OGDEN AIR LOGISTICS CENTER (Cage 98747), Dwg. 9235611 REV E, P/N 9235611-287 and Timken, CAGE 60038, P/N 9235611-287. This is being procured as other than full and open competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Note 22 applies -Sole source (FAR 6.302-1) Unrestricted procurement. The FOB point is Destination. nspection and Acceptance is Source. The required delivery for is 219 days ARO. Surge Requirements are applicable. The NSN is Foreign Bearing Waiver approved for FY10 in accordance with procedures at DFARS 225.7009-4 due to lack of domestic sourcing. Subsequent fiscal year waivers will be obtained until a domestic source is located. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 4 JAN 10 (anticipated closing date of 3 FEB 10), anticipated award date is JUNE 2010. Reference notes 22, 23 and 26.
