- NSN 1010-01-151-6239, Part Number 5830063, The item to procure is a BRACKET ASSEMBLY (1010-01-151-6239) (P/N 5830063) CONSISTS OF A BRACKET, PIVOT BRACKET, GUSSET, WELDING PILOT NUT, LOCK WASHER AND HEX CAP SCREW THAT IS MACHINED, WELDED AND ASSEMBLED FROM STEEL PER ASTM A109, A620, A36, A29, OR A568 WITH A PHOSPHATE BASE AND CARC PAINT APPLIED PER MIL-STD-171 INSTRUCTIONS. THE PART IS 4.53 X 4.87 X 1.26 INCHES. Requirements are MINIMUM GAURANTEED QUANTITY = 500 EA, MAXIMUM CONTRACT QUANTITY = 25,000 EA, BRACKET ASSEMBLY. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the MK 197 GUN MOUNT AND THE LMG-MMG-CRADLE. Estimated issue date is 4 JAN 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
