- Description
- The solicitation will be posted on or about January 26, 2010. This procurement will be conducted as a competitive 8(a) in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR 19.805. The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the National Science Foundation (NSF) is contracting to acquire a qualified Contractor to provide Project Management, Specialized Technology Design and Relocation Support Services, which includes Exhibits, Logistics, Records, Interior Design, and IT Engineering. To support NSF's mission, NSF requires a model world class headquarters facility that prominently reflects and promotes NSF as a place of discovery, a center of science and engineering collaboration and an example of the United States Government's commitment to technology advancement and the global environment. NSF's goal is to provide seamless, flexible continuity of space that is compliant with Federal security guidelines and and all other successor federal "green" legislation, Executive Orders and regulations. A Future NSF (FNSF) Headquarters Office has been established to manage and oversee all aspects of the 2013 expiring lease and replacement lease activities for the agency. NSF and GSA will be proposing a new or succeeding lease of up to 770,000 square feet for the agency. The new lease would be competitively sought. The Contractor shall assist NSF with major planning and management, programming, design, oversight and approval, construction coordination, relocation and specialty technical support services. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons onthe mailing list.
