- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting-Fort Carson, Colorado intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Full Food Services at Fort Carson, Colorado. The requirement is for the Contractor to provide all resources, except for Government furnished property, to perform full food services on an as needed basis for approximately ten dining facilities at Fort Carson, Colorado. The requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a 30-day phase-in, 11-month base period, and four (4) 1-year option periods for this requirement. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722310 and the small business size standard is $20.5 million. This acquisition is subject to the Randolph-Sheppard Act pursuant to the authority of Title 10 U.S.C. Section 2304 (c) (5) which allows the State Licensing Agency to compete. The award will be made based on the Randolph-Sheppard Act procedures in accordance with Army Regulation 210-25, Vending Facility Program for the Blind on Federal Property. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (the website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov). The entire solicitation will be issued electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website https://www.fbo.gov (paper copies will not be available). The solicitation and attachments will only be available by downloading the document from the FedBizOpps website. All prospective offerors are responsible for obtaining any amendments or any other information from the FedBizOpps website. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the website frequently/daily for the solicitation and any posted changes to the solicitation. When issued, the solicitation will specify the actual date and time for proposal receipt. No telephone or fax request will be honored.
