- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT W91ZLK-10-T-0075, using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 License renewal for 1st 5 Analysis Tokens (annual lease), 1 each. CLIN 0002 License renewal for Abaqus (annual lease) 19 Analysis tokens, 1 each. CLIN 0003 1ST Seat of Abaqus/CAE (annual lease), 1 each. CLIN 0004 Renewal 2ND Abaqus/CAE Seat annual lease, 1 each. CLIN 0005 Renewal 1ST seat of the associative interface for PRO/Engineer annual lease, 2-way associative CAD transfer from PRO/E to Abaqus/CAE 1 each. CLIN 0006 Renewal 1st seat of the associative interface for solid works, annual lease, 1 way associative CAD transfer from solid works to Abaqus/CAE, 1 each. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source Purchase Order to Dassault Systemes Simulia Corporation, 300 Centerville Road, Suite 209W, Warwick, Rhode Island 02886-0201. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is 25.0 Million. All responses received within 10 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time, December 28, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
