- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP01110900008 for the provision of Computer Software Education Services to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution located at Memphis, TN. The services will be provided for the general inmate population being performed in the Education Department at the institution. The requirement will be for an accredited (college level) Computer Software Education program leading to a one (1) year/24 credit hour technical certification for an estimated twenty students per contract year. An individual instructor will not exceed 30 hours of service per week. Classes will generally be scheduled between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:40 p.m., Monday through Friday and between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Saturdays. Services will not be required on Sundays or federal holidays. There will be three (3) sessions held yearly. The Fall and Spring sessions will each be approximately 20 weeks in length with the Summer session being approximately 10-12 weeks in length. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirement type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of one/12 month base year and four/12 month option periods for renewal. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611310, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. The solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or about December 30, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated deadline for receipt of quotes is February 5, 2010, 3:00 P.M. Central.
