- THIS IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) plans to award a sole source Simplified Acquisition to Medical Marketing Service, Inc., 185 Hansen Court, Suite 110, Wood Dale, IL 60191. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) requires annual updates of the American Medical Association's Physician Masterfile Data to support the shortage areas designation process, Area Resource File, and other programs. The AMA Physician Masterfile is the only source of information on physicians that combines current information on their locations and practices with information in their training. This data is proprietary data of the AMA and Medical Marketing Service, Inc. (MMS). Medical Marketing Service, Inc. (MMS) is the sole supplier authorized by the AMA to market the Physician Masterfile. The proposed simplified acquisition action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 15 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. No solicitation is available.
