Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to award a firm fixed price subscription contract on a sole source basis to Dow Jones & Company, Inc, 200 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10281 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. WHS intends to acquire subscription services which assist DDR&E in obtaining high-quality data on the business reality of emerging companies and technologies in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (OUSD, AT&L), Office of the Director, Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 2:00 PM, EST, December 31, 2009 by e-mail to kortnee.stewart@whs.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source and the cancellation notice will be posted on FedBizOps.
