- This is a Pre-solicitation Notice.Fleet and with specifications Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for 60 each Cylinder, 550cu inch to support SRF-JRMC Yokosuka Japan in accordance to be provided in the solicitation.Cylinders will be utilized in support of the LHD02 for the life raft inflation system.The acquisition is anticipated to be negotiated on a sole source basis per FAR 6.302 with the following manufacturer: Carleton Technologies Inc.Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Terms will be FOB Destination to the following location: Travis AFB, CA 94535 or Tracy, CA 95304 (depending on total weight). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about December 21 2009 with proposals due by on or about January 07 2010. A Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
