Description

The services to be performed include Contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, facilities, utilities, supervision and management required to perform all operations of the Refuse Collection function, which includes the collection, storage, treatment, processing, and final disposition of garbage, refuse, and other discarded solid wastes resulting from residential, industrial, and commercial activities from Contractor-owned containers The contract performance period is anticipated to be five years, including one base year and four (4) twelve month options commencing 01 February 2010. A performance-base combination firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The estimated cost range is between 100 thousand and 250 thousand dollars per year. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 562111. All responsible sources from both small and large business concerns may submit a proposal that shall be considered. All large business concerns are required to submit a subcontracting plan, through the ESRS website: http://www.esrs.gov, prior to award. The invitation for bids (IFB) will be available on or about 17 December 2009. The solicitation will only be available on the electronic bid solicitation (NECO) website: https://www.neco.navy.mil.
