- The United States Army, CECOM Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to award a Five-Year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Repair and Overhaul services of Generator Sets used in the PATRIOT Missile Defense Systems (MDSs) Electrical Power Plant III (EPP III) In Accordance With (IAW) National Maintenance Work Requirement (NMWR) 9-6115-669-2 Generator Set, Diesel Engine Driven, Skid Mounted; NMWR 9-6115-669-3, 150KW Synchronous Generator Assembly; NMWR 9-6115-669-4, Diesel Engine Assembly; EPP III Modification Kits Replacement Parts List; and Installation Instructions for Electric Power Plant (EPP) III, Generator Set, Diesel Engine Driven, Skid Mounted 2 X 150, 400 Hz, Alternating Current. The requirement is intended to be sole source to Lechmotoren GMBH (Lechmotoren), Suedliche Roemerstr, 12-16, Altenstadt, Germany, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not possess technical data necessary to complete the Repair/Overhaul of the EPP III and Lechmotoren, as the original equipment manufacturer of the EPP III and its generator sets, is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform the required overhaul/repair efforts. The Turn Around Time (TAT) for the Overhaul/Repairs will be 60 days after receipt of a Task Order (TO). The NAICS code with be 335312 with the corresponding size standard of 1000 employees. Inspection, Acceptance and FOB will be Origin. All Parties interested in conducting business with CECOM LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Upon accessing this web page, click on CECOM-2010 and then hit go. You will need to register with the IBOP in order to view solicitations. Drawings and/or links to drawings will be provided on the website. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the IBOP.
