Description
The proposed procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside; NAICS 237990 with a small business size standard of not to exceed $33.5 million average annual receipts over preceding three fiscal years, estimated cost of services is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government intends to solicit on or about 18 December 2009. The U.S Army Corps of Engineers project, Nicholson II, will consist of the installation of low pressure laterals from the connection point with the U.S Army COE project, Nicholson I, to the STEP/STEG units. The STEP/STEG units include a septic tank, effluent pump (if required), effluent filter, level controls, and wiring from the tank units to the residence. Individual homeowners will be responsible to connect to the septic tank units and provide the electrical service. The construction units will be confined to the public right-of-way and private easement areas already obtained by the Nicholson Borough Authority. The work will consist of approximately 267 STEP/STEG units and approximately 15,000 lf of 1 1/2 low pressure lateral pipe. The work will also include restoration of lawns, sidewalks and driveways disturbed during the installation. Location is Nicholson Borough of Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. All questions shall be submitted via email to carol.a.williams@usace.army.mil. Bids can be submitted via mail to U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 10 S. Howard St., RM 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201. Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the request bid package pending FBO posting on or about 18 December 2009. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, but unclassified documents and require users to have valid MPIN entered in the FBO systems to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper.
