- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Conrac Incorporated, 5124 Commerce Drive, Baldwin Park, CA. 91706 to repair fourteen (14) monitors used with the AN/AQS-24 sonar system. CONRAC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and owns the drawings for the monitor CONRAC PN 7550-R19. No one else has the drawings for the monitor or can repair them. As the OEM, CONRAC is the only company with the in-house resident knowledge to repair the AN/AQS-24 monitors in an efficient and rapid manner and return the monitors to the fleet quickly. Use of another company to repair the monitors may introduce new or change existing parameters that may be harmful to the AN/AQS-24 system. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated.
