- SF1449 - Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This posting is for Request for Quote (RFQ) W912HN-10-T-0007. This is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 331210. The small business size standard for this NAICS is 1000 employees. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-37. Description of Requirement: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires black steel pipe. Specifications are listed in the line items on the attached SF1449. Provisions and clauses included are also in the attached SF 1449. Full text may be accessed electronically at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Contractors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The completed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3) must be submitted along with each quote. Contractors MUST submit a copy of their VA Letter to confirm their Service Disabled Veteran status. Quotes are due no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, December 3, 2009. You are encouraged to submit quotes electronically. They may be submitted on letterhead and faxed to the attention of Contract Specialist, Candy Rudner at (910) 251-4454 or emailed to candy.s.rudner@usace.army.mil.
