- Recovery Act Project - A/E Patient Privacy Improvements This notice is for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the VISN 23 A/E Contracts (V618P/BOA-4161a Fourfront Design; V618P/BOA-4162a Bloom Engineers & Associates; V618P/BOA-4164a Dunham Associates, Inc.; V618P/BOA-4165a Mohagen/Hansen Architectural Group; V618P/BOA-4166a Rani Engineering; and V618P/BOA-4168a Wolfgram/Knutson Architects Ltd.). The Government anticipates entering into negotiations for a Task Order, with Wolfgram/Knutson Architects Ltd, 3140 Neil Armstrong Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55121 for the architect-engineering services for this project. Project Description: Provide A/E services to develop construction plans and specifications sufficient to award a construction contract to renovate existing spaces within Building 70 at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. The Minneapolis VA is implementing standards of patient privacy that includes providing each single patient room with a private toilet and shower. This project will provide interior modifications to rooms 3F-103, 3F-103A, 3F-104, 3F-105, 3F-105A, and 3F-108 with the goal of providing private toilet/showers to the single patient rooms. The space is currently configured with a pair of single patient rooms sharing a toilet with tub. The goal of the project is to maintain four patient beds while providing code-compliant private toilet/shower rooms. NAICS code 541310 applies to this procurement.
