- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Biomedical Engineering Department has an annual maintenance requirement for a Volcano Intravascular Ultrasound system (IVUS). Service shall be provided for the following: Ultrasound Imaging System S5 Tower IVUS S/N# - 05150 EE# - 78826, Ultrasound Imaging System S5 Tower IVUS S/N# - 05153 EE# - 78827 and Physiology Machine Combo Map Pressure System S/N# - 01055 EE# - 85172. The Contractor shall provide full maintenance to include all replacement parts, labor, travel expenses, tools, test equipment, and other incidentals necessary to provide remedial and preventive maintenance to maintain or restore the listed equipment to operating specifications according the manufacturer's recommendations.NAICS code 334510 applies with a size standard of 500. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), STVHCS intends to award sole source to Volcano Corporation on or about December 15, 2009 through November 30, 2010. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at a no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation due date is December 10, 2009 3:00 PM Local Time. All questions must be in writing and may be e-mailed to shaundrica.close@va.gov. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
