Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District in collaboration with the Northwestern Divisions Regional Business Center, Southwestern Division and the South Pacific Division invites industry participation in an Industry Exchange Forum to be held at the Double Tree Hotel, 1616 Dodge St, Omaha, Nebraska on 11 January 2010 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Checkin for the event will begin at 8:00 AM. Focus of the Industry Exchange Forum will include dialogue for the Multiple Environmental Government Acquisition (MEGA) Environmental Remediation Services, North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 562910 This event is open to all Service Providers and is not restricted to those currently under contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers. This is not marketing or an outreach activity but an exchange of information to improve the understanding of the aforementioned requirements and industry capabilities and availability to perform. Due to seating limitations, the Industry Exchange Forum is limited to two representatives per contractor. All interested attendees must pre-register at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=28FQvfEJkKwt8tBu69rYbw_3d_3d prior to 6 January 2010 by 4:00 pm CST. (Cut and paste website address to browser to access site). Telephone requests may be accepted on a case by case basis. Registrants are encouraged to submit questions prior to the Industry Exchange Forum via the Survey Monkey registration website. There is no registration fee for this activity. For your convenience, a block of rooms (limited number) has been reserved at the Double Tree Hotel (402-346-7600) under U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Industry Exchange Forum for this event. The morning schedule will be dedicated to presentation and dialogue regarding proposed acquisition strategies, contract type, performance and data requirements, and etc. Topics to be addressed in the afternoon may include Joint Ventures/Teaming Arrangements and Lessons Learned on Proposal Preparation. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, and a forum to discuss upcoming work, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Army will not assume responsibility for costs incurred by attendees or for travel expenses for marketing efforts.
