- The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Environmental Laboratory (EL), has a need for continuous Attending Veterinary services in support of its Animal Care and Use Program as required by the following DoD policy guidance: a. DoD Directive No. 3216.1. Use of Laboratory Animals in DoD Programs, 17 Apr 95, as modified by Memorandum, Director of Defense Research and Engineering, 24 Mar 00. b. Army Regulation 40-33. The Care and Use of Laboratory Animals in DOD Programs, 2 Jan 04. The Contractor will provide subject Attending Veterinary services in accordance with the Scope of Work. Detailed specifications will be available on the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 02 December 2009. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerers should check the FedBizOpps web page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 541940 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. No technical questions will be considered prior to the release of the solicitation.
