- RECOVERY - FFS Project-R6HZ TAS::14-0910-1613::TAS - THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS BEING OFFERED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). THIS IS AN EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. THIS RFP IS OPEN ONLY TO EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSES. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT: REPLACE TANKED WATER HEATERS Replace tanked water heaters with tankless water heaters, remove existing stnadard LGP water heaters. Install Bosch GWH-425 Tankless heaters. Vent through existing chinmey. REPLACE RETURN AIR DUCTS Quarters Duct ReplacementReplace return air ducts on 2 houses with insulated flex duct. Seal and insulate 5 panned joist. A. The location for this projects is at the Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge, Dugway, UT. To make arragements for site vist, please call the Robert Sims, (435)831-5353. 1. Contractors are urged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions. Failure to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is under $30,000.00. The total performance PERIOD is 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a smalll business set-aside Procurement. The NAICS code is 238220, Plumbing Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and the size standard is $14 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about November 25, 2009 with an anticipated closing date of December 17, 2009. Copies of the Request for Proposal, can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
