Description
This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors to Remove and Dispose Wooden Blockings at S-Piers, Subase, Pearl Harbor, HI. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, material, parts, equipment, technical support and other items necessary to remove 1'x 1' x 10' wooden blocking along S-Piers, located behind B-650 Subase (approx. 40). The total quantity of removal is approximately 400 feet of wooden blocking. The wooden blocking is over the water and attached to the concrete pier wall by clamps. The wooden blocking and protruding clamps shall be removed completely from the concrete wall without disturbing active water and irrigation lines. The protruding clamps may be cut flush to the concrete wall surface. The Contractor shall ensure that active water piping is removed from the wooden blocking and re-attached to the concrete wall. Abandoned piping attached to the wooden blocking shall be removed by the Contractor. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days after award of the contract. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 562119 and the annual size standard is $12,500,000. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. Interested sources shall indicate that they are capable of providing the required services and submit the following: (1) Full name and address of the firm (2) DUNs number (3) A statement regarding your business size (e.g. 8(a), small business, large business, hubzone). No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This sources sought synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFQ.
