- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, FL intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to the A&J Manufacturing Company of Tustin, CA for the following items: Four (4) each EMI Electronic Equipment Enclosure P/N 9758-1000 with setup; Four (4) each Power Panel P/N 150-274; Sixteen (16) each Cable Retractor P/N150-080-2; Sixteen (16) each Fixed Shelf P/N 150-005; Twelve (12) each Slide Plate Assembly P/N 150-195; Four (4) each Slide Plate Assembly, 4inches high P/N 150-309; Sixteen (16) each Mounting Brackets P/N 151-122. These items are not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. These units will be used in the LCS ship class Multi-Vehicle Communication System (MVCS). Products are based on form, fit, and function fully meeting the requirements stated in the MVCS system specifications. The design of the MVCS system hardware will not permit the use of an alternate rack and components. Therefore the A&J Manufacturing components are the only items that can meet this requirement.
