- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit, on a Sole Source basis, Mid-Eastern Industries, 100 School St., Bergenfield, NJ 07621, for qty.2 Ruggedized 28 VDC Power Supply, Model: 06C551. Mid-Eastern Industries is the only candidate for providing the required hardware, as they are the original developers of this equipment as well as the system it is required for. Mid-Eastern Industries is also the only known manufacturer of an off-the-shelf militarized 28 VDC Power Supple that meets MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-801 as well as designed to meet Shock MIL-STD-901D, Grade B (Surface Ship Interior Space) as well as EMC: MIL-STD-461. Development time for another vendor to ruggedize this component would take significant time and money, as well as cause changes that would delay the required delivery. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated.
