- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) at Gavin's Point National Fish Hatchery, SD. has an existing need for the construction of a new fish production well and the construction of a wood framed metal-clad well pump-house with interior lighting and supported by a reinforced concrete slab. The work includes, but is not limited to: drilling the new well hole to a depth of approximately 70 feet deep, to obtain a desired yield of 1300 gallons per minute or greater. A test well will not be required. Well pump, well head, and motor shall be sized to deliver 1300 gallons per minute to top of the existing water tank. All work will be performed in accordance with the approved US Fish and Wildlife Service design drawings and specifications. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 90 days from the Notice-To-Proceed (NTP). The upcoming solicitation will be using NAICS code 237110, Water Well Drilling, Digging, Boring or Sinking, with a size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 14 December 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 13 January 2010.
