- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. NO FURTHER SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q9929100005 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 423610 with a Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: New GNB Sunlyte 12-5000X Batteries - Quantity: 308 each (NO SUBSTITUIONS ALLOWED ON BATTERY MAKE AND MODEL) Batteries must be less then 70 lbs so they can be carried by one person over uneven terrain.Batteries must be designed for solar panel charging and deep cycle discharge use.Batteries must meet DOT criteria for non-spillable rating to transport.Batteries shall be new. PRICE MUST INCLUDE CRATING / PACKING / SHIPPING & HANDLINGTO: 5100 Cordova Street, Suite 101, Anchorage, Alaska 99503. **SPECIAL CRATING DIMENSIONS SHALL BE:EXTERIOR CRATING 19"H X 34"W X 44"LINTERIOR CRATING 14"H X 30"W X 40"L MAXIMUM OF 12 BATTERIES PER CRATE TO ALLOW FOR HELICOPTER HOISTING TO MOUNTAIN TOPS.
