- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY ISAVAILABLE ONLY TO EARTH RESOURCES TECHNOLOGY (ERT) CORPORATION UNDER CONTRACT NNJ08JB01CFOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AT THE JOHNSON SPACE CENTER (JSC) HOUSTON, TX, AUTHORIZEDUNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.JSC intends to issue Task Order 38 to procure environmental services in support ofHurricane Ike Phase II roof repairs funded by the Recovery Act. The environmentalservices under Task Order 38 are to support roof replacement and interior repairs of theBuilding 3 Cafeteria at JSC. The environmental services include environmental compliance oversight, industrial solidwaste transportation and disposal, and review of all plans, specifications, and drawingsto ensure environmental requirements are included in this project. The Building 3 repairsare needed due to wind damage and water intrusion during Hurricane Ike. Interior repairswill include removal and replacement of water-damaged, spray-applied asbestos containingmaterial used for fire proofing. These repairs require bringing the existing firealarm/fire sprinkler systems up to current code requirements. The repairs also includeadding fall protection and lighting protection systems.In addition, Modification 82 will be issued for funding Task Order 38.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement iffor informational purposes only. All questions and concerns related to this announcementmust be submitted in writing to the points of contact contained herein. This announcement will not result in a Request for Proposal; this announcement is forinformational purposes only.
