Description
Multiple Award IDIQ Contract for Office Relocation and Storage Services for the General Services Administration (GSA), Greater Southwest Region. The region includes Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. The solicitation will provide for a one (1) year base contract period with four (4) one year option periods. This will be a negotiated procurement and will require submission of technical and price proposals in accordance with the solicitation. This will result in a firm fixed-price, indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract. Contracts resulting from this solicitation will be for use on a non-mandatory as needed basis. This procurement will be a total set-aside for small businesses. The solicitation will be issued on December 08, 2009, and proposals are to be received by January 10, 2010. Description of requirements: Provide office relocation services to GSA, Greater Southwest Region. The contractor will be required to provide all management, supervision, supplies, labor, tools, and equipment and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective completion of relocation of office furniture, shelving, equipment, materials, supplies, etc., (hereinafter referred to as property) from one location to another. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with the provisions of the contract on a job-by-job basis. Services shall include the furnishing of: 1) a vehicle, if applicable, appropriate for the particular job as necessary, 2) a driver, if applicable, 3) boxes, crates, packing materials, padding and all other necessary items as appropriate for the amount of furniture or other items to be moved, and 4) Supervisors, laborers and shipping packers to perform a coordinated and efficient relocation. The property to be moved shall include, but is not limited to: general office furniture, i.e., desks, bookcases, systems furniture units, shelving units, sofas, chairs, supplies, computers, printers, etc. Property other than general office furniture may occasionally be included. Required services are to be supplied on an "as needed" basis and may vary in level of service as well as job size. The Contractor shall provide the services at any location specified by the Government within applicable zones awarded to the Contractor. Contractors will not be required to submit prices for all zones. Contractors would only submit prices for those zones where the contractor has the ability to provide services. If an award is made to an offeror, the offeror will only be permitted to compete for services within the zones in which a price is provided. Offerors may be awarded multiple contracts. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov and have completed on-line Representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov.
