- Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region, has a requirement for the establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) occurring during Fiscal Year 2010 (January 1, 2010 though September 30, 2010): "Provides labor, service, miscellaneous parts, and maintenance of AGRIMET equipment in the Great Plains Region and will be provided to meet the needs of the Bureau of Reclamation on a carry-in, on-call basis." Reclamation has identified Metcom, Inc as the only source capable of meeting the Government's requirements. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Since the Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency's requirements, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Any firm believing it can provide an equal or superior service must provide supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This award will be issued as a small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541330 and a size standard of $4.5 Million. The suspense date/time to respond to this announcement is Monday, November 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. Vendors are reminded they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and the Online Representations and Certifications Application to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov and www.orca.bpn.gov respectively. You will need your Duns and Bradstreet number and banking information. All responsible sources may submit pricing which, if received timely, shall be considered. Pricing may be submitted electronically.
