- RECOVERY--The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Northern Plains Area, has a requirement to Replace roof and paint the exterior, Building 3 at the at the Grain Marketing and Production Research Center (GMPRC) in Manhattan, Kansas. This solicitation replaces cancelled solicitation AG-82HW-S-09-0025. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, supplies and supervision to perform this work in accordance with plans and specifications. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 with a size standard of $14 million. The roof to be replaced is a ballasted membrane roof. This is 100% total set-aside for competition among Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Businesses. This project is funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. Magnitude of the project is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The solicitation, AG-82HW-S-10-0001, with specifications and drawings will be available on the FedBizOpps web site on/about 12/9/2009. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications or drawings will be available.
